Cancellation and Refund of the Reservation Service

  1. In any event where a User cancels the use of this Reservation Service after the booking has been confirmed and completed, the User shall be liable to pay the cancellation fees (which may be equivalent to the usage fee depending on the nature of the service and the time of cancellation) determined by the Service Provider and the cancellation fee(s) determined separately by the Company for each Reservation Service (hereinafter collectively referred to as the "Cancellation Fee").
  2. The Company shall refund the remaining amount after deducting the above-mentioned cancellation fee and other chargeable fees (where applicable) from the Reservation Service usage fee paid by the User. Notwithstanding the aforesaid, all handling fees paid to the Company and the payment companies’ administrative fees incurred at the time of reservation for use of the Reservation Service shall remain non-refundable regardless of the reason for cancellation. In some instances, no refunds may be issued depending on the cancellation fees imposed by the Service Provider.
  3. Refunds stipulated in the preceding paragraph shall, in principle, be made through the payment provider used by the customer after verification by our company and will take time including a term specified by the payment provider.
  4. The Company reserves the right not to issue a refund to a User if the User does not comply with the refund procedures specified by the Company (including, but not limited to, the provision of information such as a refundable credit card or a bank account to which a refund can be made to) and the Company may not grant a refund after six (6) calendar years have lapsed from the date of cancellation due to the statute of limitations.
  5. Should the Cancellation Fee set out in paragraph 1 of this Policy surpass the Reservation Service Usage Fee paid by the User, the User shall pay the difference by credit card registered under the Terms and Conditions Article 5, paragraph 1, second sentence.

In addition to the aforementioned regulations, the following provisions shall also apply to each service.

Hotel and Vacation rental

Cancellation & Changes

  • Once a reservation is confirmed through this booking service, changes to its details (such as check-in date, number of guests, and plan) are not permitted. If changes are required, the reservation must first be canceled, and a new reservation must be made. Customers can cancel their reservations through their My Page.

Refund

  • For most hotels, full refunds will be provided if the cancellation is made before the deadline set by the hotel. However, some rooms are non-refundable.
  • If a non-refundable hotel reservation is canceled, or if a reservation is canceled after the hotel's cancellation deadline, no refund will be provided regardless of the payment method.
  • The processing time for refunds varies depending on the policies and procedures of the payment provider used. For more information about the refund period, please contact the customer's payment provider.

Airline Tickets

Cancellation & Changes

  • To cancel your booking, please contact ADVENTURE no later than 3 business days prior to the departure date (excluding weekends and public holidays, during business hours: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–6:00 PM).
  • For cancellations requested after the above deadline, please contact the airline directly to process the cancellation. Please also notify ADVENTURE by the end of the next business day.
  • If you fail to board your flight without notifying either ADVENTURE or the airline, your booking will be treated as a no-show cancellation. Please note that in addition to the standard cancellation fee, additional charges may be levied by the airline.
  • If a booking for multiple passengers includes a fare type marked as "no partial cancellation," cancellation of individual passengers is not permitted. In such cases, all passengers under the same booking must be cancelled together.
  • As a general rule, changes to booking details — including passenger information and flight itinerary — are not accepted.
  • As a general rule, partial cancellations of round-trip or multi-destination tickets are not permitted.
  • If any flight segment is not boarded, all subsequent segments will be automatically cancelled by the airline. No refund will be issued for unused or automatically cancelled segments, and the airline may charge an additional fee equivalent to the difference from the standard fare.
  • Please note that flight changes may be permitted at the airline's discretion.

Refunds

Cancellations & Changes Due to Passenger Request

  • ADVENTURE's cancellation/change fee is 2,500 JPY per ticket. The equivalent amount will be charged in the currency selected by the passenger.
  • In addition to the above, a separate cancellation/change fee determined by the airline will apply. Airline cancellation fees are subject to each airline's own policies and regulations.

Cancellations & Changes Due to Airline or Weather-Related Reasons

  • In the event of a flight cancellation, delay, or suspension, the matter will be handled in accordance with the relevant airline's policies and regulations.
