【Accommodation Tax from September 1, 2025, onwards】
As of 1 September 2025, changed local tax regulations require guests to pay accommodation tax at various updated rates, which will be collected separately by the property during the check-in process. The tax is charged per person, per night, based on the room rate as follows:
- For room rates from JPY 5,000 to less than JPY 15,000: JPY 200 per person, per night
- For room rates from JPY 15,000 to less than JPY 20,000: JPY 400 per person, per night
- For room rates of JPY 20,000 or more: JPY 500 per person, per night
As a general rule, guests cannot be accepted if the name on the reservation does not match the actual guest’s name. Please note that the reservation notice states that if the registered name differs from the actual staying guest’s name, the hotel may not be able to accommodate the guest. If the name entered at the time of booking differs from the actual staying guest, check-in may not be permitted. Please ensure that the name on your reservation matches the name of the staying guest before arrival. If the reservation name and the guest’s name are different, please update the name through the booking site. Please note that the hotel cannot make name changes on your behalf. Check-in may be delayed until the name change is confirmed, and we kindly ask for your understanding.
